Meet Our Officers

I had trains when I was young but lost interest as I grew older.  I became interested in trains again when my son turned 8 years old.  I often tell the story that he got his first train set on his 8th birthday and I learned to fix it the day after his 8th birthday.

My wife Denise and I, and our son Nicholas, enjoy running trains at club events.  My wife has become interested in decorating the layouts, while my son is a operator, through and through.  I enjoy the electrical aspect of the hobby: wiring, repairs, restorations, etc.  We are always trying to push the limits in what can be done on a "travelling" layout.

When not playing with trains, we enjoy walking in the woods with our dog, Zoey, and the quiet farm life, assuming the cattle aren't moo-ing.
